Our Energy & Sustainability team delivers advisory, consulting, execution and project management services associated with design, construction, retrofitting, operation, maintenance and certification of energy efficiency projects and green buildings projects (including LEED) involving energy efficiency, master planning of sustainable development, sustainable materials and resources, energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor environment quality and other environment, health & safety and corporate social responsibility-related items, helping our clients to achieve sustainability objectives and bottom-line business benefits with reduced operating costs and increased property valuation, revenue and return on investment.
CBRE has developed a proprietary process to effectively evaluate and manage real estate properties through sustainability assessment and LEED audit, analysis, proposal, implementation, submittal and certification process followed by sustainable facilities management and asset services, monitoring, review, continuous improvement and re-certification. Globally, CBRE has certified 100 buildings under the LEED for Existing Buildings system. CBRE has achieved a 99% success rate on all credit points submitted to USGBC for LEED certification. CBRE has completed LEED assessments on more than 500 projects globally and expects to have certified 200 buildings by end of 2011.
