CBRE Project Management
Responsibilities:
• Provide expert technical services relating to construction operations, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to required standards;
• Assist with design, scope of work and liaison with third party contractors;
• Assist the Project Manager in tendering of contracts, evaluation, report writing, planning and cost control;
• Ensure compliance with client standards, building codes and regulations;
• Manage subcontractors, control quality and maintain project budgets; and
• Commission and close out projects.
Requirements:
• A bachelor degree or diploma in engineering, in disciplines covering mechanical, electrical or quantity surveying;
• A minimum of 4 years' project management or construction management experience essential;
• Knowledge and understanding of construction practices/techniques, Title III of ADA, contract laws, project controls, FIDIC, and building support systems;
• Strong oral/written communication skills in both Chinese and English;
• Detail-oriented, analytical and computer-literate, with proven leadership skills; and
• Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
2. Associate Director (Ref. BJ-ASV-2008-56)
Asset Services
Responsibilities:
• Implement strategic and business development initiatives relating to property and facilities management and tenancy administration;
• Act as a focal point for Beijing and local clients by ensuring a consistent and high level of support to both regional and local clients;
• Support a number of key China-wide management team during the business development cycle and participate in pitches, presentations, and contract negotiations;
• Develop communication channels and mechanisms to communicate with the service delivery team and across all departments within the office;
• Develop a strong and effective team with high morale and reduce staff turnover to below industry average as well as enhancing the capabilities of the team;

Requirements:

Responsibilities:
• Develop a vision and a business plan for the region. Identify critical issues that must be addressed to realize this plan and establish specific short-term and medium term objectives, plans and priorities, and measurement tools;
• Grow team and capability to self deliver Project Management;
• Provide strong and effective leadership to the current team, ensuring that all levels of staff are motivated to contribute fully to the realization of the business plan;
• Identify and close opportunities for the full range of service offerings; and
• Take responsibility for creating and delivering the budget every year.
Requirements:
• An undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or Business;
• A minimum of 10 years' project management or construction management experience;
• Knowledge and understanding of construction practices/techniques, Title III of ADA, contract laws, project controls, FIDIC, and building support systems;
• Strong oral/written communication skills in English, fluency in Mandarin Chinese preferred;
• Strong business acumen/understanding of the economics of a business;

4. Assistant (Ref. BJ-CPC-2008-105)
Corporate Communications – Greater China
Responsibilities:
• Provide administration, coordination and logistical support to the Greater China Corporate Communications team;
• Take principal responsibility for gathering, compiling and organizing media clippings;
• Assist in internal and external corporate communications activities including, but not limited to: newsletters/publications, corporate events, media activities, speaking/sponsorships and charity programmes;
• Maintain internal and external websites at a Greater China level;
• Establish a co-operative and positive working relationship with internal clients, external agencies and the Corporate Communications team; and
• Carry out any other assignments as directed by the Director, Corporate Communications - Greater China.
Requirements:
• Fluent spoken and written English skills in both English and Chinese;
• A university degree in communications/journalism/public relations/marketing or related discipline with at least two years’ relevant experience;
• Experience working for a public relations agency and/or in-house corporate role preferred;
• Proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and refined knowledge of computer tools;
• Good communication, planning/organization, interpersonal skills;
• Proactive, independent, systematic, self-motivated and reliable;
• Committed, highly flexible, and willing to learn and take up new responsibilities; and

5. Senior Director (Ref: BJ-OSV-2008-117)
Office Services – Northern China
Responsibilities:
• Generate agency business in the leasing and sale/acquisition of commercial properties on behalf of vendors/landlords and occupiers/tenants, and to take principal responsibility for the profitability of the Office Services Business Line across Northern China, including Beijing, Qingdao, Tianjin, Dalian and Shenyang;
• Plan and implement the Office Services North China annual business plan, consulting with both the Business Line Leader and the Local Managing Directors on the planning. Further, to manage and monitor the Business Line’s revenue and expenses to ensure that profitability is in line with budget projections;
• Lead the Business Line in servicing existing clients, nurturing client relationships and cultivating repeat business and referrals;
• Build up a successful sales/leasing team, and to take principal responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Business Line;
• Manage the changes within the business environment, tackle the necessary problem solving, streamline and organize workflow to be an efficient Business Line within the CBRE business; and
• Carry out any other assignments as directed by the GC Business Line Leader or the Local Managing Directors.
Requirements:
• At least 12 years' relevant working experience in commercial leasing, sales or acquisition;
• Degree holder in Real Estate or related fields;
• Proven senior management experience from different geographic locations;
• Ability to set goals for team members and work through detail budgets and resource planning;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with collaboration and team work approach;
• Fluent spoken and written English; and
