Dalian Times Square takes up approximately 17,000 square meters with two luxurious apartment blocks ‘Times No.1’ and ‘Times No.8’ at the top. The two-level shopping mall is designed by internationally renowned architect firm, Arquitectonica (ARQ), which has also designed Westin Hotel in New York Times Square.

 

The exterior of the mall is mainly made of glass. Apart from creating a simple yet elegant outlook, ARQ also considered the environmental factors to minimize the loss of cool and heated air. Glass ceilings are installed in specific sections on Level 2, thus increasing the natural lighting of the mall.

 

Dalian Times Square has a collection of almost 30 internationally renowned luxury brands and two up class restaurants, whilst certain stores are available in Dalian or even in Northeast China for the first time. All of the stores are individual specialty shops and the products will also be released worldwide simultaneously. This International branded tenants’ combination is the first to appear in a Dalian shopping center. It is also one of the malls with the most brand named stores in Northeast China.
