Despite the occasional re-emergence of new COVID-19 cases, companies in China are generally performing well and enjoying steady growth momentum. However, with the economic outlook remaining uncertain along with the prolonged global pandemic, office occupiers are having to rethink their corporate real estate strategies to incorporate greater flexibility, the adoption of new working models, and a stronger focus on wellness.

Conducted in July and August of this year, CBRE’s 2021 China Office Occupier Survey identifies five of the major trends influencing corporate real estate strategies at present and explains how office occupiers in China are adapting to and preparing for the “next normal”.
