Alan Li is the President of CBRE for China region. Alan is responsible for driving & growing the business in the regional markets through collaborative and integrated programs across all business lines and geographies. He has extensive experience in managing the business at both strategic and operational levels, and plays a central role in implementing CBRE’s localization strategy and many of the company’s most successful investments and initiatives in the region. He takes the lead in actively interacting and maintaining key client accounts, expanding and maintaining important relationships with local government and business partners to support CBRE’s business growth in China.
Alan has over 20 years of working experience and is a well-respected professional in the commercial real estate sector. Since he joined CBRE in 2015, he has proven to be an exceptional leader with outstanding management skills and extensive client networks. He has recruited and developed top talents and was able to build a market leading position for CBRE’s capital markets business across Greater China.
Under his leadership, Alan has helped the company to achieve significant business growth and well-established market leader position & superior reputation in the sector. CBRE currently has over 8,800 highly qualified & experienced professionals, offering a wide range of integrated services including advisory & transaction management, investment management, fund management, appraisal and valuation, property leasing, strategic consulting, property sales and development services, facilities management, property management and project management in over 100 cities across the region. Prior to joining CBRE, Alan was the international Director and Head of Capital Markets China at JLL.
Alan is a fellow of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). He is also a member of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee, Vice President of Shanghai Foreign-Invested Enterprises Youth Talent Association, and is awarded as an International Talent Development Mentor by Boao Forum for Asia. Alan is a frequent speaker at business forums covering various real estate investment and talent management topics. He holds an M.B.A. from Fudan University.
