Kelvin Chan is the Head of Capital Markets, China at CBRE. Based in Shanghai, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of all Capital Markets businesses and operations across China, including real estate investment sales and equity capital advisory.
Kelvin is a seasoned commercial real estate investment professional with over 20 years of broad transaction experience across Asia with a specialist focus on the China markets, encompassing investments, asset management, risk management, capital management and funds management.
Prior to CBRE, he has held a variety of executive roles at PAG and Macquarie Group and has led or provided strategic input into sourcing, structuring, negotiating, due diligence, debt financing, executing acquisitions, asset management, joint venture partner negotiations and management, and shareholder management.
He is a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, as well as a Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand as well as a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin and has lived in Hong Kong and Australia.
