CBRE Enhances Capital Markets Team with Strategic Hires in Minneapolis

Minneapolis – December 5, 2018 – CBRE Group, Inc., announced today the arrival of four new professionals and two support team members to its expanding Capital Markets Group. The addition of this team significantly bolsters CBRE’s presence in the market and will be an excellent resource for retail investment clients.

Joining CBRE are: Sean Doyle, first vice president; Matt Hazleton, first vice president; AJ Prins, first vice president; Cory Villaume, first vice president; Liam Hansmeyer-Schons, sales assistant and Kate Jones, Capital Markets Operations Manager. 

Combined, the team brings to CBRE decades of retail capital markets experience with some of the market’s largest owners and investors.

About CBRE’s New Capital Markets Professionals

Sean Doyle: Doyle specializes in the sale of retail and net leased properties throughout the Midwest region. He initially began his career in property management, and transitioned into brokerage in 2006. A native of in Bloomington, Minnesota, he graduated from the University of Iowa in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management. 

Matt Hazelton: Hazelton is a retail and single-tenant net-leased properties specialist. He represents buyers and sellers of investment properties throughout the Midwest. He is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers and serves on the Legislative Committee of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association. A graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, he grew up in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

AJ Prins: Prins started his real estate career in 2006 and is a single-tenant net-leased and retail specialist. He has a large client base of private equity non-institutional investors. A member of The International Council of Shopping Centers, he is a graduate of Iowa State University.

Cory Villaume: Villaume started his commercial real estate career in 2006 and specializes in retail and net-leased properties throughout the Midwest region. A member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association and International Council of Shopping Centers, he graduated from the University of Saint Thomas in 2006.
