As import cargo loads flood the country’s major seaports, America’s inland ports are emerging as key distribution hubs within the national supply chain. Fueled by e-commerce, these ports are seeing an explosion in warehouse and distribution center development. 

In CBRE’s annual Inland Ports Logistics Report, we take a closer look at what’s happening at and around the 12 primary inland ports, which collectively have seen the industrial-property base increase by 2.7% in Q1 2016—far outpacing the national average of 1.6%.
