  • Home to the world's largest e-commerce market, biggest manufacturing industry, and highest import and export scale, China is seeing rapid growth in warehouse demand.

 

  • Logistics net absorption in the 16 cities tracked by CBRE reached a record-high 6.6 million sq. m. in 2021, underpinned by robust leasing demand from the manufacturing, online grocery, e-commerce livestreaming, cross-border e-commerce and customer-to-manufacture segments.

 

  • Against this backdrop, CBRE recently conducted its 2021 China Logistics Occupier Survey, which aims to ascertain occupiers' logistics real estate preferences and strategies as well as identify future logistics trends set to emerge on the mainland.
